Purpose of the Job:

This position plays a critical role in strengthening the AX UK leadership team, driving sustained business growth, expanding routes to market (including CORE strategy), and evolving with a B2B2C and B2C models. With a growing team size and strategic initiatives being transitioned to the Business Unit, this role will provide pivotal leadership and execution support across key operational and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ongoing efficiency and effectiveness assessments across marketing, sales, and medical education functions; identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimise routes to market and drive customer acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and execute CORE-type operational projects ensuring successful delivery and measurable impact.
  • Collaborate and integrate with other Business Units (BUs) through Integrated Delivery Strategies (IDS) to leverage synergies and promote best practices.
  • Oversee the deployment, implementation, and local development of digital tools such as Face and Connect, ensuring alignment with commercial and customer engagement strategies.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on strategic priorities and ensure the timely execution of key projects.
  • Support the rollout of commercial policies, targeting strategies, and segmentation models to enhance market competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for decision-making, performance tracking, and reporting to increase business agility and responsiveness.
  • Uphold and promote adherence to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards across the team.
  • Represent AX UK at congresses and industry events, acting as a brand ambassador to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required to support the development and success of the business, as directed by the line manager.

Profile Requirements and Competencies:

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in commercial roles such as sales, marketing, or commercial excellence, or within management consulting.
  • Previous experience managing accounts or a territory within a comparable organisation.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, particularly with complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical acumen, with experience working with large datasets, syndicated data, or similar tools; ability to derive insights and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Digital fluency, including experience with commercial systems, integrated customer platforms, and preferably social media applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to organise effectively and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • People management experience is a strong advantage.
