We are looking to hire a Manager of Market research and customer insights to be responsible for preparing the market landscape, competitive landscape, CRM analysis reporting to the Director of Customer and Market Insight within the Marketing Function. You will be required to collaborate with both internal groups such as Commercial excellence team, digital team, marketing team and with external vendors and partners. Customer and Market Insight managers are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, and strong market research and insight generation skills.

To ensure success, a customer and market insight manager must display an excellent understanding of knowledge of pharmaceutical pipeline, pharmaceutical market, CRO industry, data analytics, Tableau and CRM data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market data and provide insights into customer behavior, preferences, and competitors.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities and strategies.
  • Provide insights into competitor strengths and weaknesses to inform business strategy.
  • Utilize various analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure customer-centric approaches across all business functions
  • Have strong understanding of CRM data (Like Salesforce) and able to monitor and analyze to identify trends and insights.
  • Prepare monthly team communications leveraging commercial tools including SFDC and Tableau
  • Strong understanding of pipeline databases like Inform, Trial Trove, ClinicalTrial.gov
  • Design and build visually engaging dashboards and reports in Tableau
  • Document data processes and workflow for the dashboard
  • Proactively set priorities, monitor and manage progress for multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

 Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • A degree in Pharmacy, life sciences, Management, or related qualification.

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • 7-10 years of work experience using data analytics, market research, competitive intelligence.
  • Working experience on building dashboard using Tableau/QLIKSENSE/Power BI.
  • Knowledge and experience of CRM datasets, especially Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • College degree or equivalent
  • Experience with SQL and other BI platforms like QLIK, Alteryx etc.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Office-Based (Hybrid), as requested by the line manager.
