The Opportunity
The CRM Designer will support the design and delivery of engaging, high-performing CRM campaigns across our brand portfolio. CRM is a key channel for our various brands, and this role will work closely with our Senior CRM Designer, copywriters and CRM managers to bring campaigns to life across email and other CRM touchpoints.
You’ll play a key role in helping to elevate the standard of our CRM design by contributing ideas, translating creative direction into effective layouts, and ensuring outputs follow brand guidelines and CRM best practices. This is a great opportunity for a designer with strong digital skills, a solid understanding of email design, and a desire to grow their CRM expertise in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
This is a full time, permanent role with hybrid working. You will be expected on site in our Shoreditch offices twice per week, with the rest of the time spent working from home.
What you'll do
- Support the Senior CRM Designer in producing high-quality campaign and lifecycle emails across multiple brands and audiences.
- Confidently translate campaign concepts or art direction into visually engaging CRM designs that align with brand tone and objectives.
- Apply existing CRM templates and component libraries in Figma, helping maintain consistency while contributing to the evolution of these systems.
- Design with CRM-specific considerations in mind, including mobile responsiveness, hierarchy, and accessibility.
- Work closely with copywriters, other designers and CRM teams to ensure creative is aligned with strategic goals.
- Respond to feedback from stakeholders and performance data to make thoughtful design iterations and improve future campaign output. Work closely with cross-functional leads to understand performance metrics, user interactions, and engagement insights that can inform creative improvements.
- Assist in email testing, checking design rendering across devices and email clients using tools like Litmus or within platform previews (e.g. Braze).
What you'll bring to HeliosX
- Strong portfolio of CRM/email designs that show an understanding of layout, visual hierarchy, and conversion principles.
- Proficient in Figma and familiar with creating within established design systems or templates.
- Some experience using platforms like Braze, Mailchimp or Litmus is beneficial but not required.
- Awareness of how email layouts respond across devices, and how to design effectively for different screen sizes and clients.
- Comfortable working within a creative team and with stakeholders to deliver high-quality work to brief.
- Able to deliver pixel-perfect work, check for rendering issues, and ensure a high standard across campaigns.
- Open to feedback, eager to learn from seniors, and motivated to grow within the CRM space.
- Able to take a campaign concept or design direction and expand it into a cohesive CRM experience, bringing messaging and visuals to life.
