Hotel Director of Operations chez Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions

DoubleTree by Hilton Front Royal is an Upper Scale Full Service hotel dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences with genuine hospitality. We are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to lead and inspire our operational teams, drive excellence across departments, and ensure our brand standards are upheld at every level.

As a key member of the executive team, the Director of Operations plays a critical role in overseeing the daily functions of the hotel, maintaining service quality, optimizing performance, and supporting our commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily hotel operations across departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering.

• Collaborate with department heads to set goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure alignment with financial and service targets.

• Maintain and enforce quality assurance standards, brand compliance, and operating procedures.

• Champion a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Drive guest satisfaction by addressing operational challenges and ensuring a seamless guest journey.

• Partner with the General Manager on strategic planning, budgeting, and staff development.

• Analyze operational data and implement strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and guest experience.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel operations management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.

• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and financial reporting.

• Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Associate's degree or higher preferred

• Experience with Hilton PEP Property Management System is a plus
