About this role
This role is offered on a temporary basis until June 2026 with the possibility of extension, and the oppportunity of working with an industry leader. Working within Queensland Rails Major Project, Engineering and Rail Safety team, you will join a team of Senior Schedulers to support and assist with the schedules of planning, monitoring, and reporting of projects.

About you:
- Are you someone who has excellent organisational skills? You will be multitasking across various priorities at any given time, so this skill is a must.
- Do you love autonomy and thrive in changing environments? No two days will be the same, so enjoyment of variety will be key.
- You'll need a solid foundation in project scheduling and planning, and demonstrable experience using Oracle Primavera P6, our enterprise scheduling tool. A key part of this role will be to provide support in generating and presenting project reports using the Power BI platform.
- Working with all levels of stakeholders, including negotiating deliverables and outcomes? The successful candidate will require strong and effective communication skills.
- Skill in developing constructive stakeholder relationships and engaging stakeholders throughout projects.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a large organisation. Interpersonally, you will have a natural relationship-building ability, and strong communication skills. You will have strong attention to detail and ideally be analytically minded.
You can anticipate some of your responsibilities to include:
- Liaise with Senior Schedulers regarding resource schedules for different projects
- Ensure a high level of communication with multiple internal stakeholders
- Produce regular reports, advice, and feedback to Senior Schedulers
- Contribute to the efficient running of the team
