What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Superpowers)
- Helping patients stay on track with their meds (including injectables).
- Keeping records neat, accurate, and up to date (because chaos ? good care).
- Handling medication refills, labs, and those surprise “Hey, I need help!” walk-ins.
- Teaming up with prescribers, pharmacies, and other providers to keep care seamless.
- Helping uninsured clients access life-saving meds (you’re basically a healthcare magician).
- Educating clients, families, and the community — sharing knowledge = sharing power.
- Jumping in with on-call support and emergencies when needed.
- Keeping up with new knowledge, trainings, and best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
What We’d Love to See in You
- About 2 years of experience in a mental health setting (bonus points if you’ve been in the trenches already).
- Solid nursing chops: assessment skills, nursing theory, and a strong handle on psych meds + psychological approaches.
- Familiarity with involuntary hospitalization laws and managed care practices (you know the rules of the game).
- Excellent communication skills — you can talk with anyone, from clients to families to providers, with compassion and clarity.
- A cool head in a fast-paced environment (because sometimes things get a little wild).
- Most importantly: a heart for helping people through tough times.
