Location: Puyallup Tribal Health Authority | Tacoma, WA

Schedule: Part-Time | Exempt | 0.5 FTE

Hiring Range: $37.50 - $50.48 per hour

At PTHA, we believe healing is holistic — mind, body, and spirit — and we are seeking a compassionate, skilled Naturopathic Physician / Clinician to bring that vision to life. What You’ll Do:

As a Naturopathic Physician / Clinician, you’ll deliver counseling, outreach, and education while supporting clients of all ages on their path to wellness..

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments — including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health screenings
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, etc.)
  • Develop treatment plans in the “client’s voice,” ensuring measurable goals and culturally informed care
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide risk screening with confidence and compassion
  • Offer wellness recommendations, including natural therapies, lifestyle support, and education
  • Participate in prevention planning and provide at least 4 hours of community outreach each quarter
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in an electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with tribal schools and community programs to extend behavioral health support
  • Engage in regular supervision, peer review, and professional development opportunities


What You Bring:

  • Education: Master's degree in Human Services or Behavioral Health field & Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree
  • Licensure: WA State Naturopathic Physician license & WA State license or associate-license as a Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist)
  • Skills: Strong counseling expertise, DSM-5 diagnostic knowledge, cultural awareness, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems
