Join our dynamic finance team as an Accounting Specialist, where you'll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions and receive mentorship from an experienced Accounting Manager. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and apply customer payments in a timely manner.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, coding expenses, and ensuring prompt payments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead research and analysis on accounting-related issues and projects.
  • Provide documentation and assistance during internal and external audits.
  • Complete ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level or above).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset. Experience working within tight month-end close deadlines is a plus.
