US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.
Become part of a team with proven experience to maintain a large network that is critical to the DoD’s mission. We are currently seeking a unique individual with supply chain skills to assist in our enterprise procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining asset management database, receiving, and shipping material throughout Central, South America and the Caribbean using government and commercial solutions and assisting with the procurement of new materials.
- Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for logistics operations and hardware asset management within the assigned theater of operations.
- Develop logistics plans to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
- Organize and maintain logistics storage facilities/warehouses.
- Develop recommendations to achieve cost effective spares inventory.
- Perform cyclic inventories IAW established procedures.
- Support greater Enterprise operations by adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Manage a comprehensive inventory of assets dispersed over a large geographic area, to include receiving, updating asset management database, deployment, transfer, and proper dispositioning of legacy hardware leveraging USG DRMO process.
- Familiarity with coordinating shipments using commercial and DoD transportation methods and import/export and ITAR compliance rules.
- Monitor and track shipments using In-Transit Visibility (ITV) tools and systems.
- Coordinate diplomatic and COMSEC shipments with appropriate DoD and DoS entities.
- Promote a working relationship with customs and country teams for the expeditious movement of shipments in/out of theater.
- Process funding requests and maintain financial accountability for shipments moved using DoD Transportation Account Codes (TACs).
- Facilitate new hardware/software requests between requesting organizations and the logistics purchasing team.
- Ensure timely responsiveness and updates to Service Requests (SRs) per established policies.
- Submit Weekly Action Reports (WARs) and other metrics as required.
- Conduct site assessments for logistics operations as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participate in special projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of related logistics and supply chain management experience required.
- Must possess and maintain an interim TS security clearance.
- BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
