We’re currently looking for a Backup Babysitter in Montréal, h3l2p2
A lovely family near Saint Laurent Boulevard is looking for a Backup Babysitter for their 7 year old daughter. Care would be on an as-needed basis, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm. Some requests might be on short notice, others may have advanced notice.
Care givers need not be able to cover all requests but would, ideally, have a flexible schedule. Note that there are no guaranteed hours for this position.

Responsibilities
- All aspects of care and monitoring for 1 child
- Engaging in age appropriate activities
- Snack and meal prep
- Maintain child's schedules and routines as set by parents
- Communicate effectively with parent regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children - help with light housework such as dishes, bottles, laundry, and organizing toys
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience
- Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
- Infant CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Has valid driver’s license or ID
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
- Must be comfortable with family’s two cats
Compensation
Position pays 24 CA$ per hour and client is looking for occasional backup care.
