ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Designer, Product & Print is a unique blend of a creative visionary and detail-obsessed technician. This role is perfect for someone who can sketch a new bag silhouette, create original prints, and organize a tech pack down to the last stitch, all with minimal oversight. You'll lead the end-to-end design process across ALOHA’s seasonal product and print lines: from initial concepts and mockups to tech packs, sample review, and final file delivery. You’ll work closely with the Director of Art & Design and cross-functional teams to ensure creative excellence and technical precision in everything we produce.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Creative Design & Development

• Design seasonal silhouettes and original prints/patterns across ALOHA's travel accessories

• Coordinate color-ups and print application across product categories

• Concept new styles, materials, and collaborations in alignment with brand direction

• Present design direction and seasonal storytelling to cross-functional teams

• Support leadership in developing concept decks and print strategies

Technical Execution & Production Prep

• Create full tech packs, including:

  • Flat vector sketches (front, back, side, internal)

  • Detailed spec sheets with tolerances

  • BOMs, print placement maps, branding, and packaging instructions

• Prepare production-ready print files (repeats, placements, color separations, bleed)

• Organize and export final factory files with consistent naming and folder structure

• Collaborate with Sourcing and Production on sample reviews and QC

• Maintain organized internal libraries of seasonal assets and documentation

EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

• 5+ years of experience in product design or accessories development

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design and technical execution

• Expertise in soft goods (bags, pouches, accessories); apparel a plus

• Independent experience managing factory-ready tech packs and documentation

• Expert level in Adobe Illustrator (primary workspace) Adobe Photoshop (for print, rendering, and mockups) Excel or Google Sheets (for specs and BOMs)

• Experience in File management via Dropbox or Google Drive

• Strong understanding of bag construction, materials, and hardware

• Sharp eye for color, typography, layout, and spatial design

• Experience with Asana, Figma, or PLM systems (BONUS)

Pay

• Salary
• $125,000 - $130,000
