Job Description:The individual in this role is responsible for supervising and ensuring the proper functioning of ramp service operations, making sure they meet Air Transat's high standards and safety requirements. As an ambassador for the company, the supervisor will also promote and maintain a safety culture at all times.
- Supervise the work teams for ramp services;
- Ensure compliance with Air Transat's airport policies and procedures regarding the treatment of baggage, both in terms of arrivals and departures.
- Conduct station inspections in accordance with company programs, identify corrective actions and ensure their implementation;
- Provide coaching and mentoring to operational teams
- Manage station delays, emergency events and irregular operations
- Work closely with airport authorities, government agencies
- Managing various reports related to ramp services
- High school leaving diploma or equivalent related to industry
- Speciality: minimum of (5) years pertinent experience in the airline/aviation industry as a ramp agent and/or team leader in the ramp services.
- 2 year’s experience in employee management
- Familiar with Transport Canada airline regulations, CBSA and USCBP regulations
- Extensive experience with above and below the wing operations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills as well as recognized leadership and team spirit.
- Strong focus on customer service in line with company values
- Flexible and available to work different shifts according to operational needs (day, evening, night, weekend and holiday)
- Oral and written fluency in French and English *
