Position: Accountant II [1033]
Program: Amarillo, Texas - Accounting & Payroll
Salary: $43,305.60 - $48,880.00 Annually
Shift available: Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Payroll and benefits processing for biweekly payroll
- Maintain payroll filing systems
- Maintain confidentiality for all employees of the agency
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and the leadership teams
- Prepare daily bank deposit
- Prepare monthly billings for grant reporting
- Prepare weekly health benefit fund processing
- Assist with annual CPA audit or other external audits
- Other duties as assigned
- Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting or Finance, or have at least 18 credit hours in accounting
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing

- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:
- Experience with ADP Software
- Experience in governmental or cost accounting
