The Service Greeter/Valet is responsible for welcoming and assisting customers who bring their vehicles in for service. They serve as the first point of contact, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all customers.


Responsibilities

  • Customer Greeter: Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival, making them feel welcome and valued.
  • Service Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments based on customer needs and availability, ensuring optimal efficiency for the service department.
  • Vehicle Intake: Gather necessary information about the customer's vehicle and service requirements, including mileage, previous service history, and specific concerns.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform a basic inspection of the vehicle, noting any visible damage or issues that may require additional attention.
  • Customer Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, including service orders, customer information forms, and warranty claims.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service department, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on courtesy, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects, up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Ability to work in a garage environment, which may include exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
