SUMMARY
Performs welding on club level exercise equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weld components in flat & vertical positions
- Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade
- Operate MIG Welder
- Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
- Welds, fits, grinds, and chip slay on assigned weldments.
- Ability to meet physical demands of job.
- Good work ethic, able to work well with others.
- Good basic math skills
- Good Communication skills, able to work efficiently with other people
- Goal oriented and self motivated
- Organized and punctual, dependable
- Willing to learn to operate forklift and cherry picker
- Other duties may be assigned.
