Job Summary: The Grants Analyst supports financial operations by performing all aspects of accounting financial contract management, analytical, and technical functions. This role involves routine/complex accounting tasks and financial/operational procedures analysis. The Grants Analyst collaborates with internal departments, external agencies, and funding bodies to ensure compliance with all grant requirements and alignment with the PWC's strategic objectives, overseeing the full grant lifecycle, from application to closeout. Key functions include monitoring and maintaining grant activity and compliance, including timely reporting, financial reporting, year-end reporting, audit requests, expenditures, and revenue reconciliation.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing and submitting grant applications, ensuring all necessary documentation, budgets, financials, and narratives are accurate and complete. These duties support planning to ensure compliance. (Annually, quarterly, monthly, as needed)
• Administer awarded grants, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including reporting and financial tracking. These duties support planning to ensure compliance. (Annually, quarterly, monthly, as needed)
• Maintain a system of financial accounting, reporting, and record keeping in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB). These duties support planning, analyze actual vs budgeted/forecasted performance; ensures compliance; and tracks and monitors KPIs. (Annually, quarterly, monthly, daily)
• Responsible for preparing board resolutions, monthly, quarterly, or yearly reporting, budgetary control and revisions, and project closeouts. These duties support planning and ensure compliance. (Annually, quarterly, monthly, as needed)
Monitor grant performance and ensure timely reporting to funding agencies, including progress reports, financial reports, and project updates. These duties support planning and ensure compliance. (As needed)
• Manage relationships with grantors and funding agencies, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries and audits. Communicate with staff and outside contacts to provide financial and accounting information and support as needed. These duties support planning. (As needed)
• Maintain detailed records of grant applications, awards, cash flow, expenditures, and compliance documentation. These duties support planning and resource allocations; analyze actual vs. budgeted/forecasted performance; ensure compliance. (Daily)
• Report on grant activity, providing updates on funding, cash flow, project progress, and future opportunities. These duties support planning and ensure compliance. (As needed)
• Expense review and approval processes for funding drawdowns from federal, state, and other agencies. These duties support planning and ensure compliance. (As needed)
• Maintain Grant spreadsheet for current and pending federal, state, local, private, and/or other grants. These duties support planning. (Monthly, as needed)
• Responsible for recording monthly and yearly accruals for grant draws or invoices. These duties support planning. (Annually, monthly)

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
