Program: Technology-Based Program Supporting a Key Government Customer
- Administer and maintain application servers, networks, and development/test infrastructure.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot application hosting services.
- Monitor system performance and conduct audits to ensure data integrity and protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues promptly.
- Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and system redundancy.
- Stay current with industry trends in cloud computing and systems administration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- 16+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering and administration.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Strong Linux System Administration skills and experience with containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git, Subversion).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of application and infrastructure security reviews.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve networking issues.
- Research and apply new technologies in object-oriented programming.
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Cisco NSO).
- Familiarity with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Jenkins).
- Experience developing APIs and services using REST, SOAP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Shell, Bash).
