PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Commercial Operations Specialist/Technical Writer will work collaboratively across the organization to assist and lead with scope of work initiation and management.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaboratively work across the organization to draft technical documents, statements of work and ensure work process adherence
- Collaboratively work across the organization to provide process flow for onboarding new customers, formulations, and products
- Project Management
- Communication skills
- Work within the CRM tool and other team process assets
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in OTC/Personal Care/Medical Device/Pharmaceutical Contract Development/Manufacturing Environment, or Analytical/Formulation Laboratory
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality
- Strong technical writing skills
- Team oriented contributor
- Understanding of the importance of responsiveness and timeliness
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Strong understanding of OTC, Personal Care, Medical Device, and Pharmaceutical commercialization process and respective regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand contracts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate across multiple levels of the internal organization as well as at the customer level
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, customers, suppliers, board, and other departments.
