Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven sales professional to lead public sector growth in the U.S., with a focus on government and council clients. The role requires proven success in software sales, preferably with Microsoft solutions and a strong understanding of public sector procurement. You will build strategic partnerships with systems integrators, drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable workflow improvements, and shape go-to-market strategies for high-priority government and commercial accounts to achieve scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities
·      Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets in the public sector vertical
·      Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across government agencies and councils
·      Strategic Selling: Identify opportunities, navigate complex sales cycles, and position our AI solutions to address client challenges and priorities
·      Microsoft Solutions Expertise: Leverage knowledge of Microsoft products, services, and partner ecosystems to strengthen value propositions
·      Public Sector Engagement: Understand procurement cycles, RFP processes, and compliance requirements specific to government clients
·      Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure client success from first contact through implementation
·      Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to AI and the public sector

Qualifications
·      3 to 5 years of proven software sales experience with a strong track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
·      Experience selling into government or council organizations (any software; Microsoft solutions preferred)
·      Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop long-term strategic accounts
·      Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
·      Familiarity with Microsoft’s solution ecosystem and/or experience as a Customer Success Manager at Microsoft (or similar role) is highly desirable
·      Preferably based in Texas with willingness to travel as needed
