Our CoStar Real Estate Manager team is hiring an experienced Front End Engineer to support our Real Estate Manager products and team. You will have a direct impact on highly visible web applications that touch millions of users. You will continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements to apply the learnings to improve our software products.

This position is located in Atlanta, GA and offers a schedule of Monday through Thursday in office and the option to work from home Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js.
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Implement and manage application state using tools like Redux.
  • Maintain additional existing platform of websites using angular
  • Build design pattern library components using storybook
  • Contribute to multiple projects
  • Review Pull Requests
  • Work with tools like Webpack, Vite, or Rollup for bundling and optimization.
  • Keep our technology stack and tool up to date with emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with the Security team to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks
  • Assist with production deployments for releases
  • Work with product management and design teams to define new features and enhancements to existing user experiences

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college  
  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering dynamic web experiences using a variety of frameworks such as React.js, AngularJS, Angular.
  • Understanding of React.js and its core principles.
  • 3+years of professional TypeScript experience
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced CSS
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Experience with containerization and cloud technologies such as Docker, AWS, and content delivery networks like Fastly or similar tools
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience with iterative/test driven development, code refactoring and continuous integration
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers

  • Tailwind
  • Experience building REST APIs with Node.js

  • Build tools such as Vite, Webpack, etc.
