Job Title: Staffing Coordinator 

  • Full-time. 

  • Starting wage: $20-25/hr. depending on experience. 

Location: 940 Worthington Circle Fort Collins, Colorado

About the Role:   As a Staffing Coordinator at Columbine West, you will: 

  • Develop and maintain schedules for certified nurse aides (C.N.A.) and resident assistants (R.A.), ensuring staffing meets organizational needs and filling staffing gaps as required. 

  • Conduct interviews, hire new C.N.A. and R.A. staff, and manage the onboarding process for new employees. 

  • Track and report staff metrics (e.g., PPD, FTE) and maintain records related to staff performance, hires, terminations, and training programs. 

  • Work with the Administrator and Director of Nursing to manage staffing budgets, including the use of agency staff, and verify agency invoices. 

  • Monitor attendance, support performance management, and assist with internal recruitment and supply ordering. 

 

What We're Looking For: 

Education and Experience: 

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent. 

  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training.

  • A Certified Nursing Assistant License in the state of Colorado. 

  • Long term care or healthcare experience preferred. 

Skills:  

  • Ability to create and maintain detailed staffing schedules, coordinate shifts, and ensure adequate coverage at all times. 

  • Proficiency in tracking employee hours, attendance, and staffing needs to ensure compliance and accuracy in records. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, management, and external agencies, as well as providing clear instructions and updates. 

  • Ability to quickly find solutions for staffing shortages or changes, such as locating replacement staff or adjusting schedules efficiently. 

  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and maintaining accurate records, along with generating reports to track staffing metrics and performance.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $20 - $25/hr. DOE
