- Resident Centered Care: Promotes service excellence through support of the Interdisciplinary Team to achieve and maintain quality resident centered care within the scope of the Maintenance department.

- Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent
- Fifth or fourth class power engineering or building operator certificate preferred
- Minimum 2 years maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital, condo/apartment buildings, hotel or large facility environment with experience of performing after hours on call duties
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Able to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
- Must demonstrate an acceptable level of reading, writing, and comprehension of English language skills
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize various demands
- Must have a working knowledge of fire codes, building codes, and general fire and life safety regulations
