Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Process Improvement Specialist to help support the successful expansion of our fiber optic network. In this role, you’ll manage the crucial process of securing Right of Entry (ROE) agreements for new fiber buildout projects. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on coordination, problem-solving, and ensuring every detail is accounted for.

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our Strategic Planning team, helping to refine processes, enhance efficiency, and build strong relationships with property managers, owners, and internal teams. This role calls for someone who can balance meticulous attention to detail with excellent communication skills to keep projects moving smoothly. Here are what some of the other key responsibilities that you'll take on: 

  • Conduct on-site field research to identify and develop detailed lists of eligible property types in designated fiber areas
  • Initiate and maintain communication with tenants, property managers, and owners to coordinate fiber installation
  • Manage the full lifecycle of ROE agreements, from initial outreach to final filing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Utilize specialized tools to identify property managers and owners, and maintain a structured filing system for tracking submissions, countersignatures, and approvals
  • Identify opportunities to improve the ROE process, such as editing agreements and developing communication materials
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for site visits and infrastructure verification
  • Coordinate discussions with leadership and legal teams to implement amendments and ensure compliance
  • Provide clear, timely updates and announcements to stakeholders, including weekly ROE Count reports and processing of all ROE distribution requests

     

    Candidates must show:

    • Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain processes clearly to diverse stakeholders
    • Professionalism and empathy when handling potential conflicts or resistance
    • A strong sense of accountability; self-motivated, positive, and able to work both independently and within a team
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in data management and tools, including Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn specialized software quickly
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively
    • Sound decision-making based on facts and judgment, seeking guidance when needed
    • Commitment to personal growth—be curious, adaptable, and continuously learn

     

    This is what you need to have

    • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
    • Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within a project management or process improvement capacity 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat applications
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to maintain regular, punctual, and consistent attendance 
    • Must have and maintain current driver license
