Position Overview
As a Trimble Operator, you’ll be responsible for using Trimble Total Station robotics to accurately lay out plumbing systems from underground to multi-level structures. You’ll work closely with BIM coordinators, Foremen, and General Contractors to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with building structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Trimble Total Station robotics for plumbing layout.
- Mark and label layout points clearly for installation crews.
- Maintain, transport, and protect Trimble equipment.
- Collaborate with BIM coordinators and site Foremen.
- Oversee and assist with installation of sleeves, embeds, and piping.
- Ensure layout accuracy and alignment with building structure.
- Troubleshoot layout and equipment issues.
- Support plumbing installation tasks as needed.
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness and adhere to safety standards.
- Assist with paperwork and care for company property.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Preferred:
- 6+ months experience in plumbing or general construction
- Basic plumbing knowledge
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Vice President of Virtual Construction
- Field Supervision: Foreman or Field Supervisor on assigned jobsite
