About the Opportunity

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Graduate Enrollment Management, the Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment will assist in enrollment management activities required for engaging, recruiting, and yielding graduate students in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences. The Assistant Director will manage student inquiries in various stages of the enrollment funnel and will assist prospective students with program selection to best fit their educational needs and professional goals.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of professional experience in recruitment or sales. The ideal candidate is comfortable with formal presentations, informal networking and brings strong sales and/or relationship building skills. Proven ability to work independently, excellent communication and presentation skills, sensitive and responsive to the needs of diverse constituencies and managing goals. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills as well as demonstrated creative and analytical abilities.  Experience working with CRM lead/prospect management processes and systems, including but not limited to application systems, specifically Slate, knowledge of Salesforce, and ERPs, including Banner for an educational institution is helpful.  Knowledge and skills normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of progressive leadership and administration in the education industry.  International Admissions experience including foreign credentials evaluation required.

Key Accountabilities & responsibilities :

Admissions Recruiting and Enrollment Management

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the College graduate programs, represent the college at various recruitment events, and assist with monitoring and engaging the application workflow from submission to enrollment. 
  • Provide students with relevant and timely information about the university's programs, admissions requirements, deadlines, enrollment process, and other student-related items. 
  • Utilize an enrollment strategy that includes, significant call and email engagements, following up with inquiries and virtual meetings designed to attract students to the programs offered in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences. 
  • Host frequent information sessions, stay up to date on admission requirements, work closely with the program directors to ensure an effective admissions process, and aid in the timely processing of admission decisions.
  • This role will be required to travel during peak recruitment season, which may include evening and weekend hours. 

Graduate Student Funding

  • Facilitate communication between students, program managers, and budget managers to fund students from the appropriate sources and in a timely manner year-round. 
  • Work directly with Student Financial Services, PhD Student operations, and the Office of Enrollment Management team to ensure that funding sources are accurate and align with budgetary goals.
  • Organize and upload graduate funding data to Salesforce for HR Payroll processing and tuition remission. 
  • Provide timely creation of award letters to comply with PhD Network timelines.
  • Monitor and track graduate and PhD stipend/tuition accounts consistent with university policy. 


Internal and External Team Communication/Collaboration

  • Work with key stakeholders to drive campus enrollment goals and initiatives 
  • Participate as a team member of the local campus
  • Maintain full knowledge of knowledge of campus offerings, admissions requirements, application process and degree program prerequisites
  • Other duties and projects as assigned essential.

Expected Hiring Range:

$52,820.00 - $74,607.50

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
