Job Title: Die Setter Department: Production
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining machines to ensure efficient production of quality products. The Die Setter will work closely with machine operators and production supervisors to meet production targets and schedule while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust dies on various machines for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Conduct tests and run samples to verify die and part accuracy and make necessary adjustments if needed to meet customer part prints.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Maintain dies as needed to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth transitions between different production runs.
- Document and maintain records of die setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Train and assist junior staff in die-setting techniques and machine operations.
- Proven experience as a Die Setter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Progressive tooling and machinery and production processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to meet customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry safety regulations and practices.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 years’ related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
