A lovely family near Inner Richmond seeks an occasional sitter for their two children, ages 3 and 4.5 years old, with an immediate start. Backup care is typically needed 1–2 times per month from 4pm-9pm, occasionally as late as 11pm. The 3-year-old is silly, talkative, and loves rocket ships, blocks, and Magna-tiles. The 4.5-year-old is sweet, sensitive, and has an engineering mind—they especially enjoys building activities. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family's requests, but should understand there are no guaranteed hours for this position. The family is looking for a communicative and hands-on sitter who the children can build a trusting connection with.

- Compensation: $35 per hour

- September 23rd, 4pm-9pm
- October 1st, 4pm-9pm
Responsibilities
- Bathroom assistance for 3-year-old
- Bed and bath time routines
- Engaging with the children, limiting screen time
- Providing pre-made meals and snacks
- Tidying related to the children
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience with ages 3-5 years old
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
Compensation
This position pays $35 per hour, and the family is looking intermittent care, as needed.
