Summary
Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely and effective electrical repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Lead and mentor electrical maintenance technicians and team leaders to ensure safe and high-quality work.
- Maintain an Electrical Apprenticeship Program to build future talent and align with business needs.
- Enforce company policies through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical maintenance activities, employee performance, and compliance records.
- Assist with managing the maintenance budget and identify cost-saving opportunities through energy efficiency and automation.
- Delegate authority to shift team leaders for project execution and monitor progress.
- Oversee electrical installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Evaluate and coordinate work performed by external electrical contractors.
- Support production and engineering teams with electrical system troubleshooting and improvements.
- Organize and facilitate training for electrical maintenance staff on new technologies and safety practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workspace.
- Conduct daily meetings to communicate safety updates, work priorities, and company news.
- Participate in plant leadership meetings and support other Wilsonart facilities as needed.
