Estimated starting annual base salary is $26.63-$39.95/hour less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. The Mogul Lead supports large-scale food manufacturing processes involving sophisticated systems and machinery. The
Mogul Lead must demonstrate mastery of all product production (Mogul) functions including batch making, cooking
colors/flavors addition processing, starch depositing and curing and provides day to day leadership and training to product
manufacturing staff. The Mogul Lead supports troubleshooting and the identification of problems as they arise, ensures
that all process related documentation and specifications are met, and escalates issues to management as needed.

• Ensure adherence by all mogul operators to the Company policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices
  (GMPs), Safety, proper attire, and personal protective equipment.
•  Ensure that all necessary paperwork for production runs is completed accurately by Mogul staff and collect all
  completed paperwork from the production floor. Arrange all paperwork in proper sequence to ensure no pages
  are missing and file in designated areas for further review.
• Coordinate with fellow team leaders if people are available while lines are down or if additional people are
  required to staff package lines.
• Work with Production management to ensure adequate components are available and in an approved status to
  maintain the schedule prior to starting all orders.
• Work with management to ensure all lines are staffed appropriately daily, reassign operators to other lines for
  daily coverage as needed, and coordinate with other shift supervisors and leads for necessary overtime coverage.
• Oversee changeovers to ensure they are completed in the most efficient time possible.
• Train operators on safe and proper procedures to operate machinery.
• Identify and communicate improvement opportunities to the Production Supervisor, Manager and Mogul
  Specialist to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Assist in coordinating with the other departments within the manufacturing area to reduce the risk of unplanned
  production interruptions. Communicate with Shakeout Lead any upcoming changeovers so they can assign work to
  their staff during planned downtime. Manage tray/rack availability with Shakeout Lead.
• Pre-weigh materials as needed, including preparing documentation and labels, coordinating delivery of materials,
  verifying status in system (AMAPS) and updating pallet placard quantities (using QR codes).

The Mogul Lead carries out People Leader Responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include:

• Oversee scheduling and assignment of duties to Mogul machine operation staff for daily activities.
• Verify Mogul operation staff training and performance, and address deficiencies in coordination with
  management.
• Establish schedules and support breaks, lunch, and other rotation schedules.
• Lead the training of team members on related tasks and requirements as needed.
• Provide direct support and training to staff involved in the operation of depositors and kitchen/cooking equipment
  to customer and Company specifications.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of gummy manufacturing machine operation experience with proven mastery in the operation of all
  stations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):

• Proven leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Advanced understanding of all related GMP requirements.
• Intermediate material handling knowledge.
• Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•  Strong decision-making, time management, analytical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
  decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal staff and management.
  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
  procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups
  of customers or employees of organization.
• Must be able to demonstrate practical problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Ability to apply common sense
  understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems
  involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The noise level in the manufacturing work environment is usually loud. The Mogul Lead will work in wet or humid
conditions, near mechanical moving parts, with exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
