Description

Louisville Tile of Nashville is seeking a Client Services Associate for our retail showroom. The Client Services Associate primarily provides support to our in house designers and serves as a liaison between customers and designers. The position requires the ability to independently schedule appointments with customers within the guidelines set by the designers. This will require an ability to coordinate the designers selling activities by providing courteous and timely service. There is a strong administrative aspect to the position as well which requires accurate and timely completion of order entry, follow up, and communication of order status. In addition to the order entry requirement the position is responsible to organize the showroom including ensuring that samples are tracked and secured. This position interacts with all customers, vendors, and employees of the company on a regular basis. This is a position where professional communication, attention to detail, focus on customer service and ability to handle multiple tasks are important.


This is a first shift Monday - Friday position with starting pay at $20.00 per hour. Applicants must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.

Requirements

CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE IMPORTANT QUALITIES

  • Interpersonal skills – administrative assistants need to be able to communicate effectively with clients and others. Much of their time is spent collaborating with designers, general contractors, and installers. Must be able to build a rapport with clients and facilitate all aspects of their order and work with a high volume of clients while maintaining a personable demeanor.
  • Problem solving – must address challenges such product availability, budgets, logistical issues, and appointment scheduling while effectively communicating changes with the clients and designers. Flexibility and customer service are of paramount importance.
  • Multi-tasking skills – Must be able to handle several projects at once while providing in-person customer service to the client. Be a self-starter and independent employee that can take initiative to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.


CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet walk-in customers serving as first point of contact for clients thus setting the tone of the experience as the ambassador of Louisville Tile.
  • Answer phones
  • Manage showroom traffic including facilitating the meeting with their designer with whom they have an appointment or helping a customer by answering questions and guiding them to set an appointment with a designer.
  • Remain current on product offerings and pricing and the time needed to conduct certain services
  • Order entry, payment, follow up, and regular communication on order status for all design staff
  • Order and manage sample inventory and deliveries by putting away new samples and maintain sample stock
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Manage appointment calendar for design staff
  • Prepare for and attend trade shows and home shows
  • Maintain the showroom and sample area to be clean, tidy, and current with new vendors and removal of discontinued vendors
  • Develop product knowledge of items available in the showroom
