Director, Partner Services

Position Responsibilities

Deltek is seeking a strategic and operationally driven Director of Partner Services to lead the development and execution of our global services partner strategy. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Deltek’s authorized services partners are equipped, aligned, and empowered to deliver exceptional consulting services to our customers. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in partner management, enablement, and cross-functional collaboration. 

This individual will be own and direct developing and executing partner services & accreditation strategy/tactics to drive mutual success for Deltek, its authorized partners, and Deltek customers. 

Develop and Administer a Partner Accreditation Program 

  • Design and launch a formal accreditation framework that evaluates and certifies partner capabilities across Deltek’s solution portfolio. 

  • Define tiered accreditation levels and criteria based on partner competencies, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Collaborate with Global Partner Alliances (GPA), Deltek Professional Services (DPS), Deltek Sales and Partner Enablement, and Product & Cloud teams to align accreditation with strategic goals and product readiness. 

  • Maintain a centralized accreditation registry and ensure visibility across internal systems and partner portals. 

Define and Manage the Partner Consulting Services Relationship 

  • Establish clear rules of engagement and process as necessary around service delivery models between Deltek and its authorized partners (Global Partners and Delivery Services Partners) 

  • Help create and maintain partner services escalation protocols and amendments to existing partner legal agreements. 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between DPS and GPA to ensure alignment on partner-delivered install and implementation services including co-delivery, subcontracting, and referral models. 

  • Monitor partner performance through KPIs, customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

Triage Issues and Resolve Operational Conflicts 

  • Act as the escalation point for partner-related delivery issues, including resource conflicts, quality concerns, and customer dissatisfaction. 

  • Implement a structured triage and resolution process in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Customer Success, Legal, and Product Support. 

  • Facilitate regular operational reviews with key partners to proactively identify risks and opportunities. 

  • Lead change management and communication efforts related to partner services policies, tools, and processes.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding and expertise in the Deltek product suite. 

  • Ability to foster a team environment, both internally and externally 

  • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement. 

  • Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models, project governance, and customer lifecycle management. 

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines. 

  • Proven track record of building and scaling partner programs, particularly in services delivery or consulting ecosystems. 

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. 

Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in professional services, partner management, or channel operations within the enterprise software industry. 

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with a global team. 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing ambiguity and competing goals to achieve results. 

  • Understanding of Deltek’s key verticals and solution offerings. 

  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Compensation Information

The U.S. On-Target-Earnings (OTE) for this position is $187500.00 - $327750.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
