What you will do

  • Deliver and set up oxygen, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment for patients.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and nurses on proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Provide follow-up calls and in-home visits to ensure patient understanding, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Respond to emergency calls and new patient orders during business hours and on-call shifts.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for respiratory care questions from nurses and other caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate patient files, billing information, and compliance documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and schedule preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains in top condition.

What we look for

  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a practicing RT; home health or hospice experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to stay patient-focused in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of CPAP, BiPAP, ventilators, oxygen systems, and other respiratory equipment.
  • Comfortable with smart devices, tablets, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to travel daily and provide on-call support.
  • Committed to patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
