Compensation: Per Diem (hours not guaranteed)

Compensation: $49.67–$82.94 per hour + 15% per diem shift differential

Radia is currently seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team at Evergreen Radia Imaging Center in Kirkland. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Summary
The PET/CT Technologist performs a broad range of advanced imaging procedures using complex equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. This position functions with minimal supervision, requires critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and maintains a strong focus on patient care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer radiopharmaceuticals/contrast agents as required
- Prepare and operate PET/CT equipment; position patients to obtain optimal images
- Perform quality control and QA on all scans and imaging equipment
- Maintain regulatory compliance through proper documentation of radiopharmaceutical usage and hot lab procedures
- Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure
- Rotate shifts based on department needs and assist with CT imaging when necessary
- Develop and maintain standard work protocols specific to PET/CT procedures
Qualifications
- Current CNMT certification
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
- PET and CT certification (ARRT or NMTCB with CT endorsement preferred)
- 1–2 years of PET/CT experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
Skills & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and patient care skills, including use of interpreters as needed
- IV and Port-A-Catheter access proficiency
- Ability to perform point-of-care lab testing (e.g., ISTAT)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Consistently follows established protocols and contributes to protocol development
