Location: SW Union Conference – 777 S Burleson Blvd., Burleson 76028; travel between Burleson and Mansfield
The role you’ll contribute:
The Provider Onboarding Coordinator, under the direction of the Regional Director of Physician Recruitment, is responsible for all aspects of the onboarding of all new employed or contracted providers joining Texas Health Medical Associates (THMA) and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). This includes facilitating the credentialing process, coordination of orientation and training, communication to all impacted departments with updates on provider onboarding statuses and progress as well as processes related to practice closures, relocations, and provider separations. The Provider Onboarding Coordinator will also assist with direct communication to new hire providers to ensure onboarding efficiency and timeliness.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Collects all data necessary for Medical Staff, Malpractice and Managed Care credentialing within 30 days of signed Letter of Intent (LOI) for new providers, AND new acquisitions. Ensures these steps are completed prior to provider start date.
Provides credentialing information and detailed instructions to provider immediately following signed LOI
Provides regular, thorough reports on provider status to the applicable leaders based on the format/schedule determined. Follows chain of command in alerting Director, Vice President, COO when timelines have been missed or are in jeopardy
Works closely with AHS Risk, AH Medical Staff, and AHS Managed Care to ensure timely credentialing completion.
Coordinates New Provider Orientation, New Employee Experience, and a variety of different training schedules
Arrange HR Processing to include: Benefit enrollment (provider and family), drug screenings, PPD testing, mask fitting, I9/e-verify employment verification, schedule/order marketing photos/materials
Validate and distribute provider bonus and relocations
Ensures provider background checks and National Provider Databank (NPDB) reports are conducted and completed
Notifies all applicable departments of impending provider and new practice acquisitions start dates
Coordinates collection and distribution of all provider status related forms.
Populating templates to request new providers to be added to all HR systems
Responsible for other provider management related tasks as assigned by the Regional Director of Physician Recruitment and other Senior Staff.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1+ years of related work experience
