Description
Our Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional Program located in Slingerlands, NY currently has a Full Time 40 Assistant Director of QIDP’s position available. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday with a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch break, extra hours as needed according to the needs of the program. The rate of pay for this position is $23.36 per hour and this is an hourly non-exempt position. The Assistant Director of QIDP’s provides oversight/assist the Director of QIDPs with habilitation plan reviews, train of QIDP Department staff/general agency staff, complete internal audits and process review of staff and departmental processes, complete field review/observations of staff for training and oversight, complete studies of plan implementations, assume Department oversight when the Director is unavailable, and maintain a QIDP caseload according to need.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field including, but not limited to Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Psychology.
- One to two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- To secure and maintain all certifications and training required by WWAARC. This includes but is not limited to, Medication Administration, 1st Aid & CPR, Decision Driving, and SCIP-R.
