What You Do
- Uses power and hand tools, applies and installs batting, foam, poly-filler and cut fabric to wooden framework in the assembly of hand-crafted furniture.
- Reads work orders and provides production status to key stakeholders and plant leadership.
- Inspects wooden framework for defects and makes repairs as needed prior to upholstery application and other finish work.
- Operates portable hand-sewing equipment, nail guns, hobnail and tack hammers, hot-knife cutters and other industrial equipment.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within one week of hire.
- One to two years of warehouse or production-related experience required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attendance and demonstrated work ethic required.
