The Master Data Analyst is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining vendor and customer master data for all operating units within Oracle. Additionally, this position is responsible for processing credit applications for vendors, responding to supplier and customer record inquires, researching Esker to Oracle vendor issues, and performing data reviews to inactivate outdated records.
This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Montgomery, AL (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Creates, modifies, and maintains master data for vendors and customers
- Processes vendor credit applications
- Responds to inquiries sent to the vendor and customer master mailboxes; educates the business on proper set up and implications
- Works in coordination with the Accounts Payable team to resolve Esker to Oracle vendor data transmission issues
- Conducts ongoing data analysis to identify outdated records for inactivation
- Participates in various vendor projects such as supply chain finance deployment, P2P process improvements, and internal control initiatives
- Maintains appropriate document retention per established policies
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, or Vendor Maintenance function
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly and concisely with both internal and external customers
- Experience in a high-volume, PO-driven environment
- History of regular and consistent attendance at work
- Experience working with strict deadlines and changing priorities
- Ability to adapt to new processes, procedures, and team structures
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrated ability to compose responses to team members and internal customers in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, auditors, and division accounting groups
- Ability to organize and analyze data using Excel pivot tables and V Lookups
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in Oracle or other ERP accounting systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
