Position: Education Navigator

Location: Sheboygan or Fond du Lac

In this role, you will help the individuals and family understand the best education options for success.  Your work will directly contribute to the personal and professional growth of the participants apart of the program.

Position Overview- Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate assessments, such as TABE, and review results with participants to help explore the education and training options available to meet personal, financial, education, and employment goals.
• Utilize Transition to Success framework with participants to map dreams and understand Life Area Survey & discuss results with Case Managers.
• Assist adults with registering for GED/HSED informational sessions, orientations and classes. For our youth participants, barriers are reduced for completing high school education or equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with study in job related area or equal experience in areas such as: Teaching, Tutoring, Instructional Aid, Vocational/Career Counseling Technician, or similar service, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• A genuine commitment to helping others succeed
