Job Title: Human Resource Payroll Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resource Assistant to support our HR department, with a focus on payroll processing. The ideal candidate will assist in various HR functions, ensuring compliance with company, federal and state policies and procedures while maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the administration of payroll processes, including data entry and verification of employee hours.

- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of information in HRIS databases.

- Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.

- Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions.

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll issues.

- Help with the preparation of HR reports and documentation as needed.

- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and support HR projects.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Previous experience in HR or payroll processing is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software. (Preferably Paylocity) 

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
