- Base pay may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.

- The Senior Business Analyst will be assigned projects to support asset tagging and survey work for specific asset types. Working with the ADG Manger:
- Define scope of the specific project
- Work with client staff to understand processes that support the Asset Type under review
- Identify the overall approach to complete Survey and Tagging work
- Create a project plan to manage the project
- Proactively identify and track metrics to support project activity
- Meet with the Field Supervisor and Field Staff to review the plan & approach at the start of the project and ongoing basis – typically this is done in the field
- Monitor project progress and create status reports
- Provide QA over data quality
- Identify issues and recommendations
- Identify improvement areas for the next project
- The Senior Business Analyst will be asked to gather and examine data from the current Cityworks and ESRI applications including asset tags, fixed asset information, historical work order data, materials usage data, and other items such as location and serial numbers.
- Work with client staff to understand data requests and potential issues and trends
- Understand Work Order, Preventative Maintenance and related processes that support or impact that data
- Identify data corrections where needed and work with internal SDI and client staff to fix or adjust data as needed
- Use that data to help improve asset tag standards, missing data and other relevant “insight”.
- Help to design, maintain, and support the asset survey system with support of SDI technical staff
- Draft documents and coordinate deliverables
- Create Static reporting and presentations
- The Senior Business Analyst will also perform other tasks including:
- Determine objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, conducting research, and evaluating output requirements.
- Perform business process analysis / reengineering as needed
- Take detailed meeting minutes and determine actionable next steps
- Identify and recommend metrics that drive and measure business performance.
- Create and present reports or presentations as requested by the ADG Manager
- Support Asset Governance Standards and ADG Governance Meetings under the direction of the ADG Manager
- 5-10 years of business analyst experience preferably in software implementation (understanding full system development life cycle)
- Demonstrated ability to develop insights from data analysis and management / stakeholder discussions
- Experience creating and using project plans
- Experience working with operating equipment in an industrial setting highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to perform discrete tasks and activities and/or execute portions of projects
- Ability to perform at a high level under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding documentation abilities
- Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- High level technical knowledge
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Cityworks, ESRI, EAM, Power BI experience is a plus
- Ability to mentor junior resources
