REIC is seeking a strategic Vice President of Legal to join our leadership team. This role will serve as the company's chief legal advisor, providing practical, business-focused counsel to executives and managers across the organization.
The VP of Legal will oversee all corporate legal functions, including contracts, compliance, litigation, and M&A, ensuring that REIC operates with integrity while supporting long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the CEO and leadership team on legal and strategic business matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Oversee compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Manage litigation and outside counsel.
- Lead legal aspects of M&A, due diligence, and integrations.
- Develop policies, training, and guidelines to support business teams.
Qualifications:
- JD and active State Bar membership.
- 10+ years of legal experience, including corporate and in-house counsel.
- Expertise in contracts, compliance, employment law, and M&A.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and business acumen.
