Our Trainee Program for Germany is designed for 18 months and aims to jumpstart your career with a unique journey within the Hitachi Energy community. It will take you through three to four work assignments, with the second assignment being an international placement, and then conclude with establishing yourself in a permanent position within the Quality organisation of Hitachi Energy.
During this journey you will learn more about our Passion for Quality and Operation and how it is lived in our Power Transformers factory in Roigheim. You will connect with different stakeholders and experience career enhancing learning opportunities within our teams.
Your responsibilities
- Support quality management initiatives by monitoring compliance, analyzing deviations, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
- Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product consistency
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement technical solutions and drive process innovation
- Participate in audits, documentation reviews, and corrective action planning to uphold high standards in production and quality assurance
- Shadow and collaborate with professionals across departments to gain deep organizational insight
- Apply strong technical, conceptual, and analytical skills to support innovation and process improvement
Your background
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems and tools is beneficial
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English, additional languages are considered as an advantage
- Customer-oriented mindset is the key
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
- A drive to learn new skills as well as open to receiving and providing feedback
- International mobility required for your assignments
