Youth Service Center Food Pantry Program Assistant (2025-2026) - Bullitt Central High chez Bullitt County Schools

This position is for the 2025-2026 school year only!

NOTICE OF POSSIBLE WAIVER: To expedite the hiring for this position, the hiring supervisor may apply for a waiver of the 15 day posting period to prevent disruption of necessary instructional or support services. 

Employee must be willing to be certified to drive district vehicles.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Employee must be available on Wednesday mornings to pick up Dare to Care Pantry items and Thursday evenings to run pantry pick ups for families.

Will be responsible for packing and delivering food bags for BCHS's feeder elementary and middle schools

Record keeping will be a necessity

Knowledge of Infinite Campus preferred.

Must be able to work in close contact with both FRC and YSC Cordinators in Bullitt Central Feeder school pattern.

May be responsible for delivering food boxes to families without transportation. 

Will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and health standards for pantry, and disposing of expired food items. 

On an as needed hourly basis from 16-20 hours per week. 

Considered part-time and not eligible for benefits.

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE:  It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

Step 0: $15.98 per hour

Step 10: $19.67 per hour
