As a Planet Kids Instructor at Soda Springs Ski Resort, you will be responsible for teaching very basic ski and snowboard lessons to children aged 8 and younger in our dedicated Planet Kids area. This role focuses on providing a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for young learners. Instructors are expected to promote and deliver exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations and enhances the winter sports experience in an atmosphere of safety, fun, and learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach beginner ski and snowboard lessons to children 8 and under.
- Provide instruction on proper equipment use in a fun, engaging way.
- Deliver outstanding guest service by creating a welcoming and safe learning environment.
- Act as a “Zone Coach” when not teaching, which includes:
- Supervising Planet Kids tubing hills and Woodward Zone.
- Assisting children as needed.
- Enforcing all safety rules and procedures.
- Reporting issues to a supervisor or manager.
- Support the resort’s commitment to safety, guest service, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and work positively with young children.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous experience in teaching, childcare, coaching, or skiing/snowboarding is a plus.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
