Hampton Lumber is a fourth-generation, family-owned company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. With over 80 years in the sawmill business, Hampton operates sawmills in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia and markets wood products all over the world. SFI-certified forests play an essential role in water conservation, wildlife habitat, and climate solutions. 

Overview:

This position will primarily be involved in timber sale acquisition, contract administration, and quality control. It will consist of 80% fieldwork and 20% office work. This position will be based out of Chehalis, WA. The work area will be in Washington as well as Oregon. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package

Skills and Attributes:

 

  • Excellent PC skills using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related forestry software tools
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all company work and safety standards
  • Proven customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong work ethic, maintain high personal and professional standards of focus and dedication to work

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Forestry or higher
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; job experience considered
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Applicable work experience is preferred
