We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our compassionate team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization of dental instruments, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment, and supporting the seamless delivery of gentle pediatric dental care.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Decontaminate, sterilize, assemble, and prepare dental instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA and CDC protocols. 
  • Monitor sterilization cycles, maintain accurate logs, and conduct quality assurance checks. 
  • Maintain organized and sanitized instrument storage and sterilization areas. 
  • Manage inventory of sterilization supplies and equipment—restocking and flagging reorder needs. 
  • Coordinate efficiently with dental assistants and clinicians to ensure instruments are available when needed. 
  • Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines, including proper disposal of biohazard materials.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Prior experience in a dental or medical sterilization role preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of sterilization methods (autoclave, ultrasonic cleaning) and infection control standards. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a friendly, child-focused team. 
  • Excellent communication skills and dependable time management.
