Suitability: Entrance on duty is contingent upon completion of a suitability review and adjudication that includes a fingerprint check, credit check, drug test and a review of the summer candidates' pre-employment forms. Some components require a National Agency Check with Inquiries through the Office of Personnel Management. Citizenship: U.S. citizens and qualifying non-U.S. citizens who meet immigration and appropriations law criteria may apply. See: https://help.usajobs.gov/working-in-government/non-citizens. The appointment of non-U.S. citizens is subject to strict security requirements and is extremely rare. Applicants who hold dual citizenship in the U.S. and another country will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Some positions are open only to U.S. citizens. Locations: 16 positions will be located in Washington, DC. The Executive Office for Immigration Review, Office of the Chief Immigration Judge will hire for 11 Immigration Courts in locations nationwide.
