Salary Range:    $16.00 Hourly

Description

Route Information:
This position services the Columbia, Marshall, Boonville, and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and efficient coverage across the region.

 

Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, or until route completion.

 

Position Profile:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting dental prosthetics (Dentures, Crowns, and Ortho appliances) to dental offices, and other related facilities. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and timely delivery of these items, maintaining the integrity of sensitive dental products throughout transit. We provide a company car, fuel, cell phone, and a predetermined route.

Job Duties and Accountabilities:

 

Delivery Driver: 

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport dental prosthetics, materials, and supplies between various locations.
  • Ensure prompt and timely delivery of dental products to designated destinations according to established schedules.
  • Handle dental prosthetics and materials with care to prevent damage or contamination during transportation.
  • Report any vehicle issues promptly to ensure the safe operation of the delivery vehicle.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with dental laboratory staff and dental office personnel during deliveries.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and safety on the road.
  • Able to safely operate a motor vehicle in any weather condition.
  • Responsible for keeping the vehicle clean and tidy.

Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record verified by our insurance company.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience with driving and customer service is preferred.

 

Physical and Safety Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Repetitive motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, arms, legs, and feet.
