Are you looking for a fast-paced warehouse role with solid benefits and a great team? Hanover Foods Corporation is hiring for Frozen Shipping and receiving on our second-shift Freezer Warehouse team in Hanover, PA!

What You Need to Know:

In this role, you’ll support warehousing, shipping, receiving, and repacking functions to ensure efficient and accurate inventory movement. You’ll operate a stand-up forklift, assist with loading and unloading trucks, and perform inventory control tasks.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine warehouse tasks, including cycle counts, location changes, and spill reports.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Confirm that trailer wheels are chocked and locked out before entry.
• Operate a stand-up forklift to transport pallets between freezer storage, production lines, railcars, and trucks.
• Verify merchandise against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure proper loading techniques to prevent trailer damage.
• Assist with repackaging support and following pick list procedures.
• Maintain and check forklift batteries as outlined in procedures.
• Follow food safety, plant hygiene, and GMP guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including reflective vests, freezer suits, gloves, and hearing protection.
• Report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor – Freezer.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to work the 2nd shift and overtime when required.
• Experience operating a stand-up forklift (required).
• Basic math skills and ability to record data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in food processing and/or warehousing is preferred.
• Good attendance record and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift to 100 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment.
