Job Title: Associate Director of Learning & Development
Location: Sulphur Springs, TX or Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Reports To: Senior Director of HR Strategy, Culture & Business Administration

Position Summary:
Energy Access Innovations (EAI) is seeking a strategic and hands-on Associate Director of Learning & Development (L&D) to build and lead a centralized L&D function that supports our growing family of companies. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise-wide learning initiatives, with a strong focus on leadership development, onboarding, compliance training, career pathing, and role-specific programs.
As a key part of EAI’s shared services organization, this role will work cross-functionally with HR business partners, business unit leaders, and subject matter experts to create a unified and scalable approach to talent development across all operating entities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with enterprise business objectives
· Lead the development of leadership programs for emerging leaders, mid-level managers, and executives
· Create and manage onboarding programs that drive operational readiness and alignment across business units, enabling revenue-generating teams to ramp faster, improve time-to-productivity, and contribute to profit growth.
· Develop and implement training frameworks for compliance, safety, technical roles, and customer-facing positions
· Introduce career pathing tools and competency frameworks to support internal mobility and growth
· Partner with HR, Operations, and business unit leaders to assess training needs and deliver tailored solutions
· Select and manage learning systems (LMS) and digital learning tools to enable scalability and self-service
· Build and lead a small, high-impact L&D team over time as the function grows
· Establish and track learning metrics, program effectiveness, and ROI to inform future investments
· Support change management and engagement initiatives through learning solutions
· All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Organizational Development, HR, or related field preferred, or relevant experience
· 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate learning and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
· Experience building L&D programs from the ground up in a high-growth or multi-entity organization
· Strong background in leadership development, instructional design, and adult learning principles
· Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
· Experience with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and blended learning strategies
· Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
· High level of initiative, creativity, and ability to work independently
· Experience in a shared services or matrixed organization is a plus
